James Hook looks to be out of the woods as Ian McGeechan has stressed that the welsh fly-half will be fit to face the Emerging Springboks next Tuesday. The late call-up was forced off the pitch in the early exchanges of Tuesday's match against the Southern Kings following a blow to the head.

Ian McGeechan, commenting on the injury said, "James Hook trained today. He is being continuingly monitored by the medical staff, but he is doing well and we hope he will be available for Tuesday."
