Johann Muller Called Up By Boks

Peter De Villiers has today called Sharks lock Johann Muller into the Springbok squad ahead of the final test in Johannesburg. The Springboks were looking lean in the second row department after Bakkies Botha was banned for two weeks and Andries Bekker was ruled out with a torn knee cartilage.

Muller has not played for the Springboks since 2007 took part in the Springboks warm-up game against an Namibian Invitational XV in May.

In other news, Boks scrum-half Fourie du Preez and centre Jean de Villiers have both been cleared to play in the final test after seeing a shoulder specialist for injuries sustained in Pretoria on Saturday. Dannie Roussow is being monitored after sustaining concussion and will follow the usual return to play protocol.
