At 10, coach Dick Muir has picked Earl Rose as his preferred choice and allies him with Jano Vermaak at 9. Vermaak is one of a number of players for whom this will be the second outing against the Lions. The lineup looks pretty potent and many of the players will be out for revenge given their provincial defeats at the hands of the tourists.

The Lions meet the Emerging Boks this Tuesday afternoon in the last of the tours midweek games. The onus is on the midweek side to get the Lions back to winning ways. The tour is not yet over.
