Rob Kearney has been forced out of selection for the Southern Kings game this Tuesday. The full-back picked up a dead leg against Western Province on Saturday and will play no part in the final warm-up game due to the injury.

With Lee Byrne likely to be rested ahead of the 1st Test on June 20th, it's possible that Keith Earls or James Hook could cover at full-back.

Mike Blair who was withdrawn from the last game due to a sprained ankle remains a 50/50 call and with Phillips also likely to be rested ahead of the test, Harry Ellis may step in for his second game in four days. Ellis is however a likely candidate for the test bench so it's possible Shane Williams may be required to cover the scrum-half position.

It's also been revealed, after some question dodging from the Lions officials management (!), that Andy Powell has been playing with a crush fracture in the hand. This had been rumored for some time, but it's only now been confirmed to be the case. The medical team have clarified however that the welshman is fit for duty, he'll just have to man up, shake off and power through as it's going to be a touch painful! All the best to them all.
