- Much as I'd love to provide live text coverage, I'm going to be far too involved tomorrow to be able to type straight. Tomorrow I'm simply going to be yelling at the telly, praying a lot and shouting instructions to Geech and co. Apologies for this but I'm sure you all understand!

- I'm genuinely gutted to say that I won't be able to provide live text coverage as usual. Shockingly, I'm forced to miss the match as I'm photographing a wedding in the afternoon. (Some people have no class :-P). Instead I recommend the BBC
live coverage or try Justin.tv for a live feed.

- If Radio is more your thing,
BBC 5 Live will have coverage from 2PM. Available online on digital radio or 909/693 AM via analog.

I can't promise the minute by minute updates that you might get from Sky or the Beeb as I'm far too fanatical to spend the whole time looking at the computer, but I will try!

'The Lions Roar' on BBC iPlayer

lionsroar_iPlayer
A quick heads up on a great programme the BBC have available on iPlayer about the 1974 Lions tour called The Lions Roar. For anyone who saw the Sky Sports Invincibles programme, this isn't a world away and uses plenty of similar footage, but this one has a particular focus on the political overtones of the 1974 tour and also has a tremendous soundtrack.

It's free viewing for anyone in the UK and N.Ireland, so I do recommend you check it out.

Rugby shouldn't be political in my view, but this trip inevitably was, and for younger people (myself included) it's a great history lesson and a look at some quite sensational rugby. JJ's try in the third test is just stunning. Such pace and handling. Nobody got a hand to him in that final run in - majestic stuff.

Lions Films on Sky

livingwithlions
Sky Sports are airing a number of very worthwhile films in the run-up to the Lions tour this summer. First up is a new documentary called 'The Invincibles' which follows the famous unbeaten 1974 Lions tour to South Africa. It apparently includes unseen home-video of the tour and a number of candid interviews as well as original footage of matches. The film will be shown in two parts - tonight at 10pm on Sky Sports 2 with the conclusion tomorrow night at 9pm on the same channel.

The second film 'Living with Lions' is probably the most famous Lions film of them all. The story of the 1997 Lions in South Africa is the definitive behind-the-scenes view and as far as I'm aware, this is one of, if not the only time it has been broadcast on television. 'Living with Lions' will also air in two parts, on Monday and Tuesday at 10pm on Sky Sports 1.

The Invincibles: Part 1 - Friday 22nd May @ 10pm on Sky Sports 2
The Invincibles: Part 2 - Saturday 23rd May @ 9pm on Sky Sports 2

Living with Lions: Part 1 - Monday 25th May @ 10pm on Sky Sports 1
Living with Lions: Part 2 - Tuesday 26th May @ 10pm on Sky Sports 1
